Downtown Olly's822 N. Illinois Sports Bar Formerly Brothers, Downtown Olly's describes itself as a "sports bar with a twist." English Ivys Restaurant and Corner Bar944 N. Alabama (just n. of 9th St) Neighborhood Restaurant and Bar Nice place and friendly staff, Big screen TV, reasonably priced dining and late night menu. The 501 Eagle Tavern501 North College Classic Leather and Jeans cruise bar The bar is located on the northeast corner of College and Michigan Streets. The parking lot is located across the street on the southeast corner. Michigan is one-way westbound, about 3 blocks north of Washington Street. College is one-way northbound, about 7 blocks east of Meridian Street. Greg's Indianapolis231 East 16th Street An Indy Classic Formerly Our Place and still often referred to as OP's, the bar was renamed in 2002 in honor of the late Greg Powers. The bar has been serving the community for over 20 consecutive years. The club features amusements, heated patio, live entertainment, and over 10,000 watts of sound! The bar is located on the south side of 16th Street, Between Delaware and Alabama Streets (about 3 blocks east of Meridian Street). Illusions Night Club and Cabaret1446 East Washington Street Show bar Out of the way, a little divey, but fun! Metro707 Massachusetts Avenue Bar, Lounge and Restaurant A cool downtown gay nightspot, Metro is located on the south side of Masachusetts Avenue, Between College and East Streets (about 7 blocks east of Meridian Street). Snazzy Jazz Conversation Bar361 Indiana Ave. Upscale Conversation Bar With cool jazz and cozy couches upstairs, the Snazzy Jazz is a unique Indy experience. Talbott Street2145 North Talbott Street An Indy Legend Returns This legendary bar re-opened in 2002 after extensive renovation, and has been described as "simply stunning." The bar features a huge dance floor and weekend drags shows. The Ten(317) 638-5802 Popular lesbian dance club The entrance to the bar is from the parking lot in the rear of the building. Pennsylvania is one-way southbound, one block east of Meridian Street. The bar is located just north of where I65 crosses Pennsylvania, about 11 blocks north of Washington Street. The Ten caters mostly to women but everyone is welcome!

Male Dancers While officially a club, visitors can purchase inexpensive one-night memberships. Annual memberships are reasonably priced. The Unicorn Club is open to ALL, men are the main clientele, but women are always welcome. This is a dance club where the entertainers do the dancing! Bring your dollar bills! Utopia924 North Pennsylvania Street Popular restaurant and dance club Utopia aims to provide a unique environment every night of the week for Indy Women and Men to enjoy. Featuring 2 bars, a pool table, restaurant, web-surfing, and a large dancefloor! Pennsylvania is a one-way southbound street located one block east of Meridian Street. The bar is on the west side of the street. On-street parking is available or you may use the lot catty-corner from the bar on the NE corner of Pennsylvania and St Joseph streets. Varsity Lounge1517 N. Pennsylvania An Indy Institution The Varsity is one of the oldest gay bars still in operation in Indianapolis! Pennsylvania is one-way southbound, one block east of Meridian Street. The bar is on the east side of the street, just south of 16th street. |
