OutWord Bound

Out Word Bound is the bookstore in Indiana specializing in gay and lesbian literary works. Located in downtown Indy, Out Word Bound offers a central location, free parking on and off the street, open 7 days a week including late evening hours (Mon-Thu 11:30am to 9pm, Friday 11:30am to 11pm, Saturday 10am to 11pm, Sunday noon to 6pm) all in a wonderful atmosphere.

While specializing in gay and lesbian books, Out Word Bound also offers great mainstream books in the areas of architecture, photography, pets, animals, food & wine, home & garden, family issues, women, spirituality, as well as general fiction and mystery. Discover the beautiful cards, calendars, CDs, journals, magazines, pride items, and distinctive gifts available at Out Word Bound. Special orders are always welcome as well as suggestions.

Solidarity Books is a cooperatively run, volunteer-driven, not-for-profit space that opened January 15, 2002. It is located at 860 Virginia Avenue, near Fountain Square and directly off 65/70. Our vision for this space is to run a bookstore with both new and used politically minded books, magazines, newspapers and zines. We would also like to extend an invitation to all activist groups to use our large amount of space for meetings, fundraisers, and other events.
