Not all gay bashers use a fist or a weapon -- some use a pen or camera. Help us to help the media be honest about our lives. The Central Indiana Chapter is almost ready to start.
Over the years victories in reporting usually came after hard fought battles. With each success, GLAAD gained increasing respect in the gay and lesbian community and the community at large. The scope of our work continued to grow. A media guide was created to assist media professionals in providing fair and accurate portrayals of lesbians and gay men. Sensitivity training sessions facilitated by GLAAD have been held for the creative teams in major studios.
