LBGSA exists to provide an anonymous, safe and friendly place for Ball State students, faculty and staff of any sexual orientation. Social/Support Meetings are held Sundays at 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. in the student center. Special events are planned throughout the year.

Over 200 faculty, staff, administration, and students participate in this program designed to foster a supportive campus for GLB people. Members are given yellow SAFE On-Campus signs that may be placed in their office or windows that signify they are supportive of people regardless of sexual orientation.

A peer counseling line for lesbian, bisexual, gay, heterosexual and HIV+ people. Callers can talk anonymously with people trained by the Counseling and Psychological Services Center who will listen, understand and care. The line currently operates during the regular school year
