The Indiana Civil Liberties Union (ICLU) is an ardent support of the Gay and Lesbian communities.
The Gay and Lesbian Rights Task Force of the ICLU is active throughout the year. The Task force is comprised of 6 main committees, however ad-hoc committees are formed in response to current events. The 6 standing committees are:

Justice is the state's oldest Gay and Lesbian civil rights organization. The group's annual membership is reasonable, with funds going towards the establishment of civil rights for Gays and Lesbians within the state of Indiana.

Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual Transgender Fairness of Indiana is a not-for-profit lobbying and public policy group which provides the Hoosier state with comprehensive work on LGBT rights and health issues.
LGBT Fairness lobbies all levels of government including Local, State and Federal. They cover the full range of issues of concern to our community, including hate crimes/victims rights, police/community relations, LGBT civil rights, AIDS, lesbian health, insurance, youth/education and laws relating to our rights to organize and raise funds politically and socially.
Meetings are held weekly at 7:00 PM on Tuesdays. Call for directions.
