Let me say that we wish we had more female to male members, but we don't. Very few ever contact us. Therefore we don't feel that we can qualify to give you much help at our meetings (yet). However, trying to be the full service group that we are, here are some groups that are made just for you!
Locally there is Indy Boyz, a social/support group for FtMs in the Indianapolis and surrounding areas. The group welcomes gender variant people on the FtM spectrum and those who support them; including but not limited to tomboys, butches, F2Ms, transmen, drag kings, intersexuals, those questioning, and our SOs, friends, family, and allies. First off there is FTM International. Their web page is now running. You can also get them by . This is a peer support group for female-to-male transvestites and transsexuals. They offer information and networking for women who are exploring their gender identity issues, or who need a safe "place" to explore their male personae, as well as for men who are in the process of transition, or who have completed the change.
The other group is The American Boyz. Their Home Page states "A support and social group for people who were born female but who feel that is not a complete or accurate assessment of who they are". And then goes on to list Butches, F2Ms, Transmen, FTVs, Gender Outlaws, Transsexuals, Drag Kings, Boychicks, She-Bears, Shapeshifters, Tomboys, Passing Women, Amazons, Intersexuals, Female Guys, Boss Girls, Transgenderists, Sirs, and our Significant Others, Friends, Families, and Allies. (SOFFA). (I just wish I knew what half of these are).
