As Health Case Manager, Michael assists IYG youth in matters involving both physical and mental health. Youth contact Michael with a variety of issues including coming out to family and friends, self-esteem, depression, relationship issues, STD/HIV testing and stress management.
A graduate of DePauw University and Purdue University, Michael has several years experience working with adolescents as a public school teacher, and mental health professional. He has functioned as an individual and group therapist at Purdue University and Wabash Valley Hospital in West Lafayette. Most recently, Michael spent two and one half years working as a Group Therapist/Crisis Therapist and Case Manager at Tri-County Mental Health Center in Carmel.
