We frequently get emails from frustrated list subscribers who can't seem to get unsubscribed from the list. The following tips should help:

• You must reply to the "Confirm Unsubscribe" email that is auto-generated after you hit the unsubscribe button. After replying to this email you will receive an email with the subject "GOODBYE from GayIndy.Org."
  
  Failure to reply to the "Confirm Unsubscribe" email is the most common reason for unsubscribes being unsuccessful. If you have not received the GOODBYE email you are not off the list!
• Make sure you are unsubscribing from the right list by checking the proper radio button (regular list or digest) before submitting. If you're not exactly sure, you can go ahead and try them both, it won't hurt anything. The important thing is that you receive a "Confirm Unsubscribe" email which you must reply to.
• If you have more than one email account, make sure you are using the correct email address when you fill in the unsubscribe form.
• If you have verified that you are entering the subscribed email address and are still not receiving the "Confirm Unsubscribe" email, check to see if you have a spam filter enabled. If so, try disabling it long enough to complete this operation, or set it to accept mail from [email protected] or [email protected].

If you have tried everything and you just can't get that "GOODBYE" email, send an email to and we wil remove your address manually.
