I want to edit my listing but I don't know my ID number, how do I find it?

  When your listing was accepted you received an e-mail with your lising ID number. We are presently working on a retrieval system for this. For now, if you are unable to locate the original e-mail, please with your organization name and we'll get the ID number back to you as soon as we can. Thanks for your patience while we develop this feature!

    The organizations from the old version of GayIndy.Org were transferred to this section by the site administrator. If you need to make changes to a listing that was transferred, please

  re-submit your listing. We'll delete the old listing when we approve your new one.
  • My organization doesn't really fit into any of the available catagories. How do I make a new one?

    There is no user feature for creating new catagories, so you'll have to place your listing in the catagory that fits best (or the most appropriate main catagory). There is a box on the submission form labeled "Comments/Requests" that is visible only to us where you can suggest a new catagory and we can move your listing. We will make every effort to accomodate all new catagory requests.

    These will be considered on a case-by-case basis. GayIndy.Org is a local site, and our listings are generally reserved for Indianapolis and surrounding area organizations.

    Just select "Indiana" without a city and make sure you put the city in the address block. We'll see that your address is listed properly.

    Yes. The form requires a phone number, but will take text such as N/A or E-mail Only.

    No, there are two places to enter your e-mail address. The required field is visible only to us and is required so that we may contact you about your listing. You do not have to have an e-mail address listed on the site; however, this is how most people will contact you from your listing! If you don't want your personal or primary organization e-mail address listed, you should consider a free webmail account from a service like

  Hotmail. If you are an AOL user, you can add a screen name (keyword: screen name) that will allow you to use an e-mail address other than your primary address.

  If your concern is spam, the organization listings program contains programming called "e-mail spoofing," which is designed to protect listed emails from web search engines and advertisement spiders (no guarantees though!)

  No, this is a public site and these listings are available to anyone who visits GayIndy.Org. If this is a problem you should not list your organization on this site.
