IYG Annual Meeting & Art Auction Set

Indianapolis-- Once a year, IYG (Indy's LGBT youth group) gathers its staff, youth and board, and invites the community to share in the successes of the agency. The Annual Meeting and Art Auction will be held Friday, April 11th from 7:30-10 p.m. at the Marrott, and will be hosted by Hoaglin Fine Catering.

Executive Director Rob Connoley comments, "This is our one chance to have the youth meet the community that supports them, and for the community to see the fruits of its support."

The event will feature a variety of youth created art, most expressing their feelings around sexual orientation and gender identity, with a brief presentation to begin at 8:30. The presentation will highlight the successes from 2002, and will present the recently released strategic plan.

While a silent auction will be held for the artwork, no solicitations will be made. Admission is free. Hors d¹oeuvres and a cash bar will be provided. No RSVPs are necessary. For more information, call IYG at 541-8726.
