Bloomington Theater to Host PRIDE Film FestivalIndianapolis-- On January 31, 2004, the first annual PRIDE film festival will be shown at Bloomington's Buskirk-Chumley Theater. PRIDE will feature ten short independent films from across the country. It is the first festival in Bloomington dedicated to exploring a wide variety of issues and situations that involve gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender communities. These films have traveled across the world, winning numerous awards and garnering critical praise, and many are coming to Indiana for the first time.
The festival will feature two screenings of PRIDE, one at 3:00 pm and one at 8:00 pm . Tickets will be $5 for students and $7 for non-students. Ticket information can be obtained by contacting the Buskirk-Chumley Theater directly at 812.339.6741.
