Indianapolis, October 17, 2004-- Indy Pride, Inc. will again be hosting the annual Indy Pride Community Thanksgiving Dinner, which will be held this year on Saturday, November 20 from 6:00- 8:00 p.m. at Zion Evangelical United Church of Christ. The event is free and is open to everyone and anyone who wants to attend.

This annual celebration is a pitch-in; those who are able are asked to bring something to eat (side dishes, salads and desserts are needed). Turkey and ham will be provided.

In addition to Indy Pride, other local GLBT organizations are "pitching in" as participating partners in this year's event: the Gay Business Alliance (GBA), Gay Indy.Org, Indianapolis P-FLAG, Indiana Youth Group (IYG), Black Gay Pride, Indy Soul Sistahs, and Indiana Transgender Rights Advocacy Alliance (INTRAA).

Indy Pride, Inc. is a not-for-profit organization who raises money for various educational and charitable causes. Among other events, the group organized the annual In Pride Festival in June.
