Indianapolis, February 16, 2005-- The Indy Pride Board of Directors, with input from the GLBT community, has chosen the theme "LIVE OUT LOUD" for the IN Pride 2005 Parade & Festival. A contest was held asking members of the GLBT community to submit theme suggestions.

Sixty four (64) theme suggestions were submitted. Board members narrowed the list to 20 theme suggestions and posted a poll on the Indy Pride Yahoo News Group and provided a way to vote through the Indy Pride website. In addition, votes were solicited at several local bars during the month of January. The theme selected was submitted by Indy Pride Secretary Jason Carmin.

Community organizations are encouraged to incorporate the LIVE OUT LOUD theme in their booths and parade entries. Vendor and parade applications can be downloaded from the Indy Pride website. The deadline to appear in the Pride Guide is April 1, 2005. Parade floats can be rented from Indy Pride..
