Indianapolis, October 30, 2004-- The Indy Pride Board of Directors has announced that the weekend of June 11-12 will be designated as IN Pride 2005.
Once again the plans call for a GLBT Pride Parade down Massachusetts Avenue to Vermont Street to University Park. The IN Pride 2005 Festival will again be held in University Park.
The Festival will feature live performances from local and national talent, the Pride Idol contest, informational booths, and merchandise booths. Vendor and Informational Booth Application forms for IN Pride 2005 are already available online at www.indyprideinc.com .
Indy Pride President, Gary Brackett reported I anticipate that IN Pride 2005 will be the largest Pride event in Indianapolis. If we continue to increase attendance they way we have the past couple of years, then we should have an all-time record high in 2005!
Profits from Pride events will continue to be distributed back to the GLBT Community through scholarships to gay, lesbian, bisexual, and transgender students throughout the State of Indiana and donations to other GLBT non-profit organizations.
