Wherever Lily Tomlin appears, she brings along a cast of characters both poignant and hilarious. In "Lily’s X-Files," Lily and her characters – including Ernestine the telephone operator and five-year old Edith Ann – sound off on modern life, love, childhood, the media, pop culture, the past and the future. One of the most versatile performers of our time, Tomlin has starred on television, on stage and in the movies, most recently in last year’s "I Love Huckabees," with Dustin Hoffman and Jude Law.
Lily Tomlin’s presentation is the third of four programs in the inaugural Unique Lives & Experiences series in Indianapolis. Kim Phuc, "The Girl in the Picture," launched the series in mid-February, followed by CBS-TV’s Lesley Stahl in March. The series concludes May 9 with "An Evening with Maya Angelou," featuring the legendary writer, director, poet, and social activist. Tickets and VIP reception packages for the Angelou show also are on sale now.
