GayIndy.Org eList Guidelines

We encourage all subscribers to post:

  • Information of interest to the gay/lesbian/bi/transgender community in Indiana. This includes:
    • events
    • discussions about organizations, services, programs
    • community action alerts
    • shared information about public services.
    • other general information for/about our community
    • items of significant interest at a regional or national level

  • Postings by non-profit groups, organizations, corporations are welcome. Postings of for-profit business activities (with the exception of entertainment events of GLBT interest) are prohibited.
  • Postings regarding organized public not-for-profit social events are acceptable and encouraged; however, postings for individual social activities (e.g. "would a list member like to accompany me to the movies?") are not allowed.
  • Do not post messages which are attacks on individuals or remarks which may constitute slander or libel.
  • Postings of a sexual nature, or postings seeking dating and/or sex, are strictly prohibited and will result in a permanent ban of the list member.
  • Please read the tips and netiquette page before posting.

We reserve the right to block postings and/or remove a member from the list for violation of these guidelines. If you feel that you cannot comply with these practices, please feel free to listen only or unsubscribe from the list.
